The J&R Engineering LIFT-N-LOCK® Crawler transporter is used to lift and transport ventilated storage casks containing spent nuclear fuel assemblies. It allows the user to lift and travel with the load, fully under its own power.
By integrating our advanced LIFT-N-LOCK® boom design with the crawler track undercarriage and its own fossil fuel power house, we have achieved the desired autonomy with the strongest capacities in lifting and propelling mechanisms.
J&R designed and built the first ever tracked spent fuel dry cask Transporter. J&R was awarded the prestigious Wisconsin Governor's Award in recognition of this product's groundbreaking design.
